Recipe: Grilled Peaches | Flavorful World food and drink blog

Warm weather is coming on strong in my neck of the woods.? That and the deliciousness that is grilled fruit in the summertime seemed like a good reason to share my recipe for grilled peaches. It?s only Monday and April, but thought of soon enjoying these again has me looking forward to the weekend already, not to mention midsummer (when everything just inevitably tastes even better than usual.)

Ingredients:
? 4 large peaches
? 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
? 1/4 cup melted butter
? 1/4 tsp vanilla extract

Directions:
1. Halve peach. Remove pit.
2. Sprinkle cut side with cinnamon.
3. Add vanilla extract to melted butter and stir until blended.
4. Place peaches on hot grill, cut side down, and grill for 4-6 minutes, brushing with vanilla-butter. Turn peaches over and grill for an additional 4-6 minutes, brushing with remaining vanilla-butter.
