I joined the gym a few years ago and really got into the aerobic's classes, especially the one called body bump which is a combination of dance, aerobic workout and step ups. Then I gave up the gym due to having to work extra hours, so decided the next best thing was to buy myself a few items of gym equipment for the home.
I bought this aerobic step for ?24.99 from The Sports Shop in Hereford town centre and it was half price and came with two extra step blocks that canbe added for extra height.
This is 110cm x 41cm x 11cm and can be placed on the floor of the living room for you to do your step ups and downs when your working out to music.
It stores away nicely as you can take the blocks off.
It is light weight as it's made from high density polyethylene and I have had this for about a year and a half and it is quite hard wearing. I work out three times a week and although the colour has faded and there are a few scuff marks on the top of the board where I have been stepping up, it is still in a good condition to use for my workouts.
You can buy extra block feet for it if you want to really go for it and do harder step ups, I keep to the same routine just to keep in shape and I find this piece of equipment a good asset to my home gym. It is non slip so you don't have to worry about stepping up and down and it moving about as long as you place it on a carpeted floor it should be fine.
I'm happy with my purchase as I got it half price, I think for what it is the price could be smaller as you now have to pay around ?45 for it without the blocks , so I'm glad I bought it when I did as I'd think twice about paying that for it and think about using the stairs in the house.
Good solid piece of equipment for step training.
